Turpin Landscaping at The Home Show

Turpin Landscaping at the Home show

Turpin Landscaping would like to thank everyone who came to see us at The Suburban Home & Garden Show in Oakes, PA over the weekend. It was wonderful to see many of our friends and clients and it is always great to meet so many new visitors at our garden display. One of my favorite highlights from the show was watching the students from the Chester County Intermediate Unit Learning Center release the fish and turtles into the pond. FOX News opened their news coverage of the Home and Garden Show at our display, giving viewers across the Philadelphia area a glimpse of spring and summer to come.

In case you missed our awesome display, we had an Ecosystem Pond, a Pondless Waterfall, a three-tiered stone column fountain, a Flag Stone Patio, a Pergola, a Techo-Bloc Walkway and a gorgeous landscaping display featuring all the colors of spring! Speaking of spring, we have sent out our Spring Pond Clean-Out letter, including our early buy forms. If you are interested in this service and did not receive a form, please contact us at 610-380-1119.

Although snow covered the ground, it was truly spring at the Turpin Landscaping garden display. We installed both Pond Lighting and Landscape Lighting to highlight the project features. The part I enjoyed the most was watching the children interact with our display. Our display was alive, literally, with fish (koi) and three very active turtles.  Watching both children and adults enjoy our display makes all the work we put into this project worthwhile.Home-Show-Pond02

Everyone who visits us at the Home Show asks the same question, “How long does it take to set-up and break-down your display?” Well, we work for a solid week here at the shop and then it is an additional two and a half days to set-up at the convention center.   Breaking down our display depends on the number of people we have to help. We broke-down in record time this year, two hours and 10 minutes! This was due to the help of 7 employees, two spouses, my grandfather and Deb a true friend, who has had us at her home in Downingotwn, PA to install a Pondless Waterfall, Fire Pit, Walkway, Landscaping and Landscape Lighting.

It was a truly memorable experience being at the Home and Garden Show this year. If you missed it, you can always visit us at Turpin Landscaping, 287 Martins Corner Road, Coatesville, PA. We service Chester County, Montgomery County, Lancaster County, Delaware County, PA & New Castle and Kent County in DE.
