Turpin Donated to our Local Food Bank

local food bank 2It is with much excitement and gratitude that we announce the donation total from our 2016 Pond Tours. As most of you know our local food bank, the Chester County Food Bank is near and dear to our hearts here at Turpin Landscaping, Inc. So without further delay we are proud to announce that this year’s total donation to our local food bank was $17,000.00! We are humbled and grateful to the many generous volunteers, homeowners and family members that contributed to this annual fund raiser. Anne Shuniak, Community Engagement & Marketing Manager and Norman Horn, Director of Development for the food bank were on hand in November for the check presentation and to thank committee volunteers. For us this means that beautiful bucolic Chester County and beyond really enjoys sharing the outdoor lifestyle with their fellow community members. This very same community has helped us to donate a staggering $97,000.00 to the food bank over the last seven years.

We at Turpin would not be able to do this on our own but with the help of many we are able to contribute in a big way to those in need right here in our community. If you are looking for inspiration or just enjoy spending time outdoors, these tours are for you. So this is our early invitation to all; please join us on the last Saturday of June (6/24/17) for our Annual Garden Tour, the last weekend of July (7/29/17 & 7/30/17) for our Brandywine Valley Water Garden Weekend Tour and the last Saturday in September (9/30/17) for our Annual Evening Tour.

We at Turpin love helping our local food bank, the Chester County Food Bank and we love sharing our passion for living the outdoor Lifestyle!
