Night Water Garden Tour of Chester County Extraordinaire!

Night-Tour-01Turpin Landscaping staff and a bus full of our friends spent the last Saturday of September traveling through bucolic Chester County during our Night Water Garden Tour. We started in the Whitford Hills area and enjoyed a delicious alfresco-catered dinner overlooking a multitiered pond sporting a newly installed patio in a rarely seen Rainbow Flagstone. Each stop along our tour started with a brief history of the pond and/or pondless waterfall. Visitors were able to see these stunning water features illuminated by several different types of lighting. From LED Pond Lights, to Low-Voltage Landscape Lighting for trees and plantings, to Laser Lighting of the backyards; we were awed inspired to see these pond and pondless water features all done-up for the evenings festivities. The outdoor fireplaces and fire pits were quite a hit as this was the first chilly evening of the season. Many of the homeowners surprised us with unique treats. From S’mores to Trick-or-Treat candy; there was something for everyone! If those treats weren’t enough, dessert was served at our last stop, and may I say that the Coffee and Pumpkin Squares were mighty delicious!

To sum up the night we would like to say a heartfelt Thank You to all our friends who opened their properties so others could be inspired and amazed at what can be created in anyone’s backyard.
