Landscape Installation and Landscape Maintenance in Chester County, Delaware County and Montgomery County

Landscape-Installation_landscape-MaintenanceHappy Leap Year! Call me crazy, but at this time of year it’s all about plants and services to make properties come ALIVE! We are looking forward to spring and planning for it now. Although spring is still weeks away, it’s time to order plant material to set your landscape apart. I’m always more than happy to take special orders for any lants you would like. We are offering a savings incentive for scheduling Landscape Installation and Landscape Maintenance in Chester County, Delaware County and Montgomery County in Southeastern Pennsylvania prior to March 1st by discounting plants to be installed this spring.

Landscape-Installation-Landscape-MaintenanceSpring is a busy time for graduations, showers, and other celebrations, so please don’t wait until the last minute to schedule service; it can be difficult to meet a tight time frame. The plant material discount is being offered as an incentive to motivate you to think about your landscape plans this month, and includes trees, shrubs, perennials and annual plants. We also offer uniquely designed container plantings for a dramatic impact at your entryway or patio.

For my long standing clients and those new to property maintenance with Turpin, preventative maintenance goes a long way in keeping our plant investments healthy. It does not make financial sense to spend money on landscape installation that is not cared for properly. Since Plants are my Passion, let me offer my advice. Whether you are a “Do It Yourself” or a “Do It For Me” kind of gardener, the same advice applies if you care about your property’s appearance.   For more information, please find our Suggested Property Maintenance for Early Spring, along with seasonal timely tips.

Landscape-Installaton-Landscape-Maintenance-04When I start working with a new customer, I like to find out key information to better understand their needs and make appropriate recommendations. Usually I begin by asking how long they have been living in their home. This helps me determine if what I am seeing is a result of their landscaping efforts, or if they recently inherited plantings from a previous owner. There can sometimes be grading and drainage problems that need to be addressed before making improvements to the overall appearance of the property.   Next I need to know if they have public water and sewer, or onsite well and septic; as well as an irrigation system, dog fence, landscape lighting or buried obstacles for which we should be made aware. This is all very important information that needs to be acknowledged before even starting to consider my favorite part, which is the aesthetic appearance and functionality of the outdoor living space.

Finally with all of these facts noted, I begin to think about what impact Mother Nature has on our area sunlight, wind, soil conditions and wildlife all play a part when considering landscaping. If deer resistant plants are important for your area or you are interested in planting designed to attract birds, we have the passion and experience to make your garden successful and beautiful. This is where Landscape Design really comes into play to create the most dramatic impact.

Many times, we are contacted by potential customers because when visiting friends they liked what they saw, and they would like to see what we can do for them. Most often we need to start at the beginning to establish the goals to be accomplished, which can be a landscape renovation project that may include and is not limited to improving foundation beds, adding privacy screening, enhancing curb appeal with new island beds or borders, landscape lighting, a water feature, masonry addition or fire element.
