These wreaths are so nice just a bow can be enough.

As all of our calendars start filling up for the busy holiday season we at Turpin Landscaping, Inc. would like to invite you to a Community Holiday Wreath Decorating Workshop.  This is our creative way to say Thank You to everyone who has supported us throughout the years and to welcome friends, both new and old.  We are offering fresh wreaths for you to decorate, but if you would like to bring one you already have that is fine.  Becky Turpin and Katie Verdieck our Landscaping Leaders will be on site to explain the best techniques and offer tips and advice on holiday wreath decorating.

ticketSince everyone’s decorating style is different, we encourage you to bring items that you would like to include on your wreath.  I myself usually stop by a resale/Goodwill store to see if they have some ice skates or ornaments to add to my holiday wreaths because I like to add that traditional decoration. So think about what you might like to add to your wreath and bring it along.  You may also want to take a walk in your backyard or a local park and forage for some; bittersweet, winter berries, pine cones or whatever you think might look nice on a holiday wreath. We will have a limited supply of adornments for you to use.

Imagine what they will look like decorated.

The cost of registration will cover the wholesale price of the wreaths. These beautiful wreaths are hand made at a local farm in Bucks County that has been doing this for over 50 years. The rings are handmade and will not sag.  These mixed green wreaths include Fraser Fir, White Pine, Boxwood, Juniper and Winterberry and are pretty enough to display all on their own or with the simple addition of a bow and some pine cones and ribbons will be available; Becky and Katie can assist in bow making.

We will be supplying the Hot Apple Cider and cookies, and holiday music as you create a beautiful wreath for your front door, window, gate, or where ever you would like to add some holiday cheer.  We will be hosting this event in our large heated garage but do dress appropriately; it is a garage, so an extra layer or two of clothing wouldn’t hurt.

Please register so we will be sure to have adequate supplies and space available for all who attend.  Feel free to invite your friends and neighbors to this fun and creative holiday wreath decorating workshop that we hope will become an annual event here at Turpin Landscaping.
