The Landscape Contractor in Montgomery County to Win Best In Show at Philly Home Show

Landscape-Contractor-in-Montgomery-County-8Now that we have all shoveled and plowed ourselves out from the record-breaking blizzard of 2016, its time to say a big THANK YOU to all of you who stopped by and visited us at the All New Philly Home Show in Oaks this year. We at Turpin Landscaping were super excited to be the Landscape Contractor in Montgomery County to win best in show.  We thoroughly enjoyed the time spent educating friends, both old and new, about ecosystem ponds, pondless waterfalls, landscaping, hardscaping & masonary. Landscape-Contractor-in-Montgomery-County-5One of the many highlights for us was watching the news reporters enjoying the view of the pond from our patio while giving local viewers a rundown of the show. The setup was so beautiful the reporters couldn’t resist relaxing by the pond. The local press also visited us and gave us some wonderful coverage. Always a highlight for both young and old alike is the stepping stone bridge across the pond and the kids sure loved trying to find the koi and the turtles that swam in the pond during the show.

Check 2015This donation is the cumulative effort of many generous sponsors and customers who opened their properties for one or more of our annual Pond and Garden Tour Fund Raisers. The food bank serves over 90 food cupboards and meal sites. Near and dear to our heart is the Raised Bed Gardens program that was started in 2009 with just 25 beds at six sites. Today they have 621 gardens at 122 sites, including 49 schools. The Children’s Backpack Program is another worthwhile cause that is supported through the tour. Chester County Life -Story On Outdoor Living Space

One of the many projects we at Turpin Landscaping, Inc. just love to share is the stunning property of Peggy Jones in West Chester PA. This property hosts an outdoor living space of multiple functionality.   From the hydrotherapy pool, rain garden, irregular flagstone patio, pavilion, all new landscaping, to the fireplace and outdoor kitchen, this property is a sight to behold. The outdoor kitchen contains, among other amenities, a sink, barbecue, refrigerator, cooking burners and a spectacular dining area. This property came with some unique challenges that had many contractors overwhelmed, but not the talented group at Turpin Landscaping. Jason arrived at the property and told the homeowner that he could indeed transform her backyard into the oasis of her dreams. If you would like to learn more about this spectacular property check out the article in Chester County Life Magazine “Multilevel Majesty” (PDF) by Susan Shiber
